Ask Metro Ltd (formerly Metro Reinstatements) was established in 1998 to specialise in repair jobs for insurance companies. We soon became one of the largest insurance repairers in the market place and remain so today. We offer a comprehensive range of services to our customers, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Ask Metro's ongoing success as a market leader in the insurance reinstatement field is the result of establishing sound systems and procedures to handle the rigor and demands of managing large volumes of small repairs concurrently.

We are based in West Auckland and have a team that travels over the entire Auckland region. We employ a core of professional staff, who in addition to being skilled in their various trades, are also selected for their well developed interpersonal skills.

Ask Metro recognizes that our people are a vital link to the building occupier who may have gone through a very stressful time. It is important that we communicate well with them so that we can assist them in getting their lives back in order in the quickest possible time, with the least amount of stress. Thus, our people are not only representing Ask Metro, they are also representing our customer, the insurance company, and the property managers.

We consider personal presentation to be very important and our trades people are dressed in company provided clothing that is not only smart, but also identify them as a member of the Ask Metro team. All our tradesmen/employees have photo ID cards.

Ask Metro also operates a Site Safe policy and all our staff have undergone training to ensure that all work places meet our high safety standards. In addition to our own staff Ask Metro also employs specialists for particular tasks from our list of approved contractors and service providers. To work for Ask Metro, these sub-contractors and suppliers must satisfy our company that they are qualified to carry put the tasks to our high level of quality workmanship.

More recently Ask Metro has moved into other areas of property repair and maintenance drawing on the experience and efficiencies obtained in the insurance repairs sector.
