Great Lake Relay - Feb 2011
AskMetro is putting together a team to run around the 160km around Lake Taupo on February 19th next year. This will be to support part-time AskMetro team member, Justin Cheyne who is running it SOLO…we always knew he was slightly mad and this has confirmed it! Justin is running to raise awareness of how exercise helps overcome depression. He has got together with the Mental Health Foundation and the race organiser to add a couple of thousand extra places to the event for teams like ours to raise money.

We hope you will support us, him and maybe consider putting a team together yourself. If you enter a team and aren’t sure of how to start training, Justin will write you an individual program and give advice on nutrition, gear, etc. You can contact him on justin.cheyne@gmail.com.

It’s a great event for team building and something for all abilities – from a 5km walk leg to the 16km hill leg…
