Mark qualified from Sheffield Polytechnic in 1985 with a BSc in Construction Management.

After working for several building and property companies in Yorkshire and London, he moved to New Zealand in 1997.

He joined Wormald (part of Tyco International), as the Contracts Manager for the Northern Region managing a large number of staff. Wormald is the leading fire protection company in NZ and offered Mark some very valuable experience in the corporate world.

With his background and passion for building and people, the opportunity came up to join Metro Reinstatements (now Ask Metro) in May 2005. He jumped at the chance and now relishes the family atmosphere of Ask Metro and the variety and challenge of running a successful company.

Dave started in the construction industry in 1986 as a labourer, he completed his carpentry/joinery apprenticeship working for a reinstatement company in 1993, Dave has been involved in every aspect of the insurance repair industry.

Dave worked on Cyclone Bola, Albany Tornado, Pukekohe Floods, He has supervised and rebuilt many fire damaged buildings. In the early 90’s he worked for one of the largest reinstatement companies who processed over sixty thousand jobs. After preparing over 1000 building specifications and supervising many more, Dave has a wealth of knowledge in relation to the rebuilding of damaged property, both residential and commercial for the insurance and private sector.

In 1996 until 1999 He worked for the Sultan of Brunei, Specializing in Timber floors, Squash courts, Disco floors, Inlaid floors. He laid floors in more than 12 Palaces around south east Asia. Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei. Dave has worked for Ask Metro for over 10 years and has been with the company since its small beginnings to the large successful company it now is. He plays an integral part of the day to day running of the operation.

Dale has been a valuable member of the Ask Metro team for 4 years. He started as a carpenter carrying out all the reinstatement work in and around the Auckland area. He trained and supervised our young apprentices. With his knowledge of the industry and his appetite for a challenge he moved into a supervisor role.

His previous experience before joining Ask Metro was site developing and construction of large industrial/commercial projects. He was a Building & Maintenance staff member for Coca Cola Amatil for 8 years. He then spent a few years building luxury dwelling on lifestyle blocks.

Dale has a vast amount of experience ranging from carpentry, plumbing, tiling and all areas of maintenance.

His experience and can do attitude makes him an important member of the Ask Metro team.

Adi Ambrozi (Contracts Supervisor)

Adi was qualified as a builder in Hungary in 1988. After she finished her bachelor degree in construction engineering she worked as a project manager on government projects in the Middle East for ten years before moving to New Zealand in 2003.

Adi worked here as a builder for two years then switched back to project management with the majority of time spent managing large housing improvements and reinstatements.

She then joined Ask Metro twelve months ago as a supervisor specialising in larger tenders and planned maintenance. Adi is in her final year of her masters degree in construction project management at AUT. In her spare time she is very much into personal fitness and DIY.
